We’re excited to see our New York Director, Brian Martinez, featured in BLDUP’s Spotlight, a platform that highlights voices shaping the future of the built environment. In the piece, Brian shares insights into our studio’s approach to storytelling, design collaboration, and the evolving role of visualization in the built environment and architecture.
As a key creative force behind the trajectory of our film work, Brian brings a thoughtful perspective on how narrative and design intersect to elevate the built world. The feature reflects the idea-driven work happening across our team and the shared curiosity that fuels our partnerships through our cinematic advantage.

A big thank you to BLDUP for the opportunity to contribute to the conversation and be featured among such inspiring friends and colleagues!

Shimahara Visual celebrates its 25th anniversary this summer, we’re reflecting on a journey defined by imagination, innovation, and the enduring power of visual storytelling. What began as a bold vision to push the boundaries of architectural visualization has evolved into a cinematic, full-service creative agency. We’re proud to mark this milestone with the launch of our newly refreshed website. More than a new look, this moment is a renewed statement of who we are and where we’re headed, one that mirrors our continued commitment to craft, artistry, and narrative.

We’re excited to finally share our work on the Los Angeles Rams’ new team headquarters! In collaboration with Gensler, we created a series of comprehensive visuals showcasing Rams Village at Warner Center. This state-of-the-art, 100-acre mixed-use development will feature residential, retail, office space, parks, greenways, and two major entertainment venues—designed to connect people and energize the local community.
As an LA-based studio, we’re proud to contribute to a project that reflects the evolving spirit of Los Angeles and helps shape its future in a meaningful way.
